After 152 years of organized international non-governmental and governmental efforts, as well as multilateral actions by governments, with over 1000 international, regional, bilateral, and multilateral environmental treaties to date, there is no clear outlook for the international community regarding environmental protection and greenhouse gas reduction by 2030. If governments do not act responsibly and in coordination to fulfill their international commitments, the 1.5°C target of the Paris Agreement will be lost within a few years, putting the world on a path of increasing temperatures throughout this century, which will have negative impacts on global security. The main issue of this research is how to utilize artificial intelligence systems for targeted global climate change mitigation within the framework of international law by 2030. The main questions are: How can these systems play their diverse roles in effectively combating climate change? And what challenges are envisioned in these roles, especially in their integration with international law by 2030? The method of this research is descriptive-analytical and focuses on analyzing the intersection of international law, artificial intelligence, and climate change. The findings of this research indicate that despite the diverse roles of artificial intelligence in combating climate change, it faces technical and environmental challenges, and the differing views and policies of global powers have led to increased disputes, for which a political and legal solution must be found.
